Summer Commencement

More than 1,000 degrees and certificates were awarded at Summer Commencement on August 19. President Frohnmayer presided over the ceremony, which included the commencement address by Frances Bronet, dean of the School of Architecture and Allied Arts.
Ray Hawk Memorial (streaming video)

Ray Hawk, former dean of men and vice president for administration and finance of the UO and a long-time community volunteer, left a lasting impression on many UO students. He died in May 2006. President Frohnmayer, former Vice President for Administration Dan Williams, alumnus Kirk Bailey, and Hawk's son Kenneth spoke at a recent memorial service.
