January 12, 2017 President Schill and Professor Richmond provided an update regarding the provost search.
October 10, 2016 - The campus community may submit nominations for the position of provost and senior vice president. Community members are encouraged to nominate people who are held in high regard and who are believed to be strong candidates given the ambitious agenda for expanded academic excellence that President Schill has set for the university. Nominations of individuals who have served as graduate deans, vice presidents for research, or vice/deputy provost for academic affairs, are welcome. While those who have not had decanal or provostial experience will also be considered, it is likely that the search committee will give substantial weight to those who have a demonstrated track record of success in academic administration, and who are substantial scholars, who could easily be appointed with tenure to a full professorship in their home department. Nominations may be sent to the search consulting firm Russell Reynolds Associates at email@example.com. Please include the names of the nominees and their current institutions.
September 30, 2016 - The search committee will be holding a public input session on on Monday, October 10 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in 123 Pacific Hall. Questions and requests for accommodations may be addressed to Kathy Warden at firstname.lastname@example.org.
