Building Renaming Process

Update: June 10, 2020

The UO Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on June 24, 2020, at 1 p.m. for consideration and action regarding the denaming of Deady Hall. More information, including how to view the remote meeting, is available on the board's website.

On June 10, President Michael Schill sent a memo to the UO Board of Trustees recommending changing the name of Deady Hall, the oldest building on campus.

On June 5, during the spring 2020 meeting of the Board of Trustees, Trustee Andrew Colas asked the board to consider denaming Deady Hall. Read the full story on Around the O.


2016 Building Name Review Process
