To help provide the University of Oregon community with up-to-date information about our response to COVID-19, President Michael H. Schill and members of the UO’s leadership, faculty, and staff will be hosting two virtual town halls.
The second of the two town halls will be focused on faculty and staff and will provide updates and answers to your questions related to the UO’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and our efforts to deliver on our core mission of teaching, learning, and service while keeping the entire community safe and healthy.
All town halls will be livestreamed and recorded for later viewing.
Faculty and Staff Virtual Town Hall
University of Oregon leaders have announced a shift in plans for fall term, pivoting to primarily remote and online instruction. At the same time, the UO is welcoming the freshman class to live in residence halls on campus for the intellectual, social, and recreational activities that distinctly shape the college experience.
The UO continues to be committed to safeguarding our community and creating a healthy campus environment, including testing, contact tracing, reducing density in campus buildings, while working with our public health partners.
For the latest information, please read the UO's COVID-19 information. Questions, concerns, or suggestions not for the Town Hall should continue to be directed to our Inquiries Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) form or call 541-346-7007 (staffed 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday).
